“My mind is constantly thinking. It is sometimes a distraction. I sometimes wonder why my
mind won’t stop racing all the time. I often think about things from the past that I need to let go
of. I think of this abstractly as a self-portrait. It is a static piece, but it is laid out in a way that
creates movement with direction: Past (Left Eye) + Future (Right Eye).”
